Courtney Caldwell

Apprentice Trainer

Courtney Caldwell grew up just outside of Tampa, FL. She attended the University of South Florida, after which she relocated to NYC, drawn to its culture and opportunities.

Courtney found her NYC family in the restaurant industry, but always felt like she could do more for those among us without a voice. She feels truly fulfilled helping our furry friends reach their highest potential, and can’t wait to meet your pupper too!

Courtney has always been an animal lover, growing up with dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, you name it! Her hobbies include singing, playing the guitar, spending time outdoors, and watching anything science fiction with her nerdy husband, Mike. They live on the Upper West Side with their 3 year-old rescue, Josie.

Courtney has been with the KPDT team for over 2 years. She is an assistant trainer in all level classes with KPDT, and also provides reinforcement training walks with more intense behavioral cases.

JOANNE ADAMIS

Certified Dog Trainer

Joanne’s love of dogs began at an early age when she visited her uncle’s farm, and observed his dogs watching over his farm animals: goats, sheep, and chickens. Over the years, her fondness for animals transitioned into wanting to be a dog trainer. This was due in large part to a pup named Petey; a Staffordshire Terrier!

Having completed her apprenticeship with KPDT, Joanne graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2019 and received her dog training certification. She has now been with the KPDT team for over 3 years. Joanne assists with private training sessions, as well as working alongside Kate in all KPDT classes.
